Default Wheel Adapters?

Has anyone out there used wheel adapters on their 2nd gen tiburon? Or do you have to change everything?

I'm using wheel spacers w/ my 17" rims on the front two hubs if that helps at all.....

I drive a first gen but there's no difference in the wheel hubs (except maybe the rotors = non captive vs. captive, I have captive).

4 lug to 5 lug. One of my friends got a free set 17" wheels that would look really nice but they are universal 5 lug. I would have to strip the wheels and get them powder coated because they have been curbed more than a couple times.
