Hi All!



We (Tom&Shannon) bought our Veloster Turbo, Elite White / Black & Blue interior / Ultimate Package / 6-speed manual last month... really enjoying it.



Other than having the paint clayed and a good coat of wax by our detail guy - plus tinting the windows all around - it is completely stock... of course, that's the way all of our project cars started...



I (Tom) test drive cars for a living for an engineering company, so I drive everything from little "city cars" (e.g. Scion IQ) to supercars (e.g. McLaren MP4-12C), both production and prototypes... when we were looking for a fun commuter car for Shannon (that we will probably not autocross or track), the VT rose to the top of the pack.



At some future point we will likely add an extended warranty and I'll post about that, and why it will be a FACTORY warranty... and how to go about adding that AFTER you've bought the car. I did a stint as a Finance Manager for a Porsche dealership, so I know a bit about extended warranties (and it's also why I know that the F&I mgr that did our paperwork was a lying weasel when it came to the extended warranty).
