Hey guys! My wife has a 2000 accent gs 2 door that she bought new back in 2000. She is going to be buying a new vehicle shortly, and I will be inheriting the accent for daily driver duties. Needless to say, I am already looking for upgrades. She has kept it bone stock for the last 10 years, but I have a feeling it won't stay that way for long after I get it! smile.gif Pictures will come shortly.

TONS AND TONS of stuff for the 2K accents. You came to the right place, because this site is swarming with accent owners. Let us know what kind of things you want to do to the car, and we can point ya in the right direction. smile.gif

I popped the hood, hoping it was a 1.6 but it is a 1.5. I am going to daily drive this car, so I don't want to do MUCH. It's also an auto, which is not ideal, but it is, what it is... First mod I am thinking is cold air intake, and then a new head unit... I would really like to turbo this thing, but I am not real sure the auto trans will hold up!

Yeah the auto is a bit weak honestly. It could hold up to a mild turbo setup though, just enough to make the car a bit more fun.

You can also swap in a 2.0l if you would like, either using the 2.0l's automatic, or converting to a manual.
