Wow this is neat, an automatic message welcoming me.



Have a white 2012 3.8 R-Spec. Coming from a 2004 SRT-4. Basic bolt ons on that car and had like 280 whp (100 + degrees when tuned) and 315 or so wtq. Fun car but I hate FWD. Love this car, handles better and it's nice to have RWD again.



Only things done so far are the TB loop, Cone filter, painted the front and rear "H" black, debaged the rest of the trunk, plasti-diped wheels black, RRM 24 mm rear sway.



Plans: Well isn't much I can do since the V6 aftermarket is a little lacking right now. Want CBE at some point just don't know which one. I'll get a real SRI at some point, Short throw shifter. Once money isn't too tight and people figure out tuning I want to turbo it.

 

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like you have a good start on your 2012. Are you looking into wheels or suspension?



I might be able to get you hooked up on an exhaust. Let me know when you're ready to buy.



There was a large meet in North Carolina a few weeks ago, and someone made a video of (i think) 6 cars with different v6 exhausts so people could have sound comparisons on the same video camera. All of them sounded great, in my opinion.



I know there's a guy in California working hard to get his V6 turbo going. Right now he's waiting on a manifold.
