Hello everyone
How are you doing this fine day?
I come from Gencoupe as well, however, I still frequent that website and joined this one as well. I just recently purchased my 2010 GT GenCoupe last week. Everything on it is stock, but I'm working on getting some headlights and taillights made, and hopefully getting the emblems put on as well. Goal is to have all the lights, emblems, and a new matte black paint job done within 2 years. I'm not trying to rice it up, but I'd like a little personal flare to it. My previous vehicle was a 2001 Tacoma PreRunner and I had it since it came out, great vehicle, treated me well but it was time to upgrade. I hope that the Genesis can treat me well for the next 5-10 years as well, and look forward to great conversations and suggestions from this forum. I'll spend a bunch of time looking at the aftermarket area, from what I can garner is that IS and Seoulful racing are apparently the ones everyone is saying stay away from? May I ask why?
Thanks. Have a good one.

I'll stick with the rest of the staff and refrain from vendor comments at this time. There are threads here that you can search through to read about other member experiences.
As far as matte black paint job - have you considered doing a vinyl wrap in matte black? Jules @ Invision Automotion did this to his red GC and it came out looking great, from the pics I saw. It might be a cheaper, reversible, and temporary conversion before going all out and painting it.

I was thinking about wrapping it but I don't believe anyone in the city of San Antonio does so. There's a few places that paint it satin/matte black. I'd love the Reventon color but Lamborghini has kept that secret, and only their dealerships and one dealership in California know the "recipe" for it. I appreciate the warm reception, I'm glad to be a part of the forum. I'll have to look at some pictures, I was thinking of getting it foiled but there isn't anyone around here in Texas that does that either. I'll have to start looking around, the paint job will come last, but the lights and emblems I'd love to have by the next few months. I like the stock rims and haven't found any that beg to be on my car so I'll probably take a look around here on the forums for that as well. Also, that is a buttload of reputation you have there hahaha.
