Hi, my name is frank

'm from ohio

I drive a 96 accent

I found these forums through google.

I've done the following mods to my car.

2.0 betaI engine swap using accent tranny. obx header custom exhaust. gutted interior manual rack conversion.
kyb gr-2 should be here today and intrax lowering springs going on sunday with gr-2.
so far ive mustered a 14.8 in the 1/4 with a 2.3 60 foot. theres a lil more left in it but im bored with the current state and am putting a turbo kit together. im trying to find the truth about the 1.8 pistons and rods. when i look them up at hyundai oem parts places it list the pistons are the same for 2.0 and 1.8. anyone have some measurements or some post that could shine some light on the situation.
thanks
It's good to meet you all and I hope to learn from you!

Welcome

Do you have proof of this 14.8 1/4mi? Cause thats probably the fastest NA on this site if its true, which is a bit hard to believe with your lack of mods

when at the dragstrip collect donations for Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, tell them each time you run under 15sec in the gay pink accent they have to pay up their wager.

and on the side of car write "Keep a Breast"

or "Beta for Boobies"

and that is how you pull off having a pink car.

Or you can paint a huge mural of Pepe Le Pew on the hood...

Anybody?
