Hi, my name is Ivan.

I'm from Toronto Canada.

I drive a Silver 2001 Tiburon. Prior to owning this car I hadn't driven a car for more then 7 years. I was forced to give up driving because I fell asleep at the wheel and my insurance was too high for me.

I found these forums after I purchased my car last year in June. I was so excited to drive again that I bought a manual car not even knowing how to drive one. I Had to get a friend to drive it off the lot for me. lol. After a 40 min crash course, I was finally driving, not crashing!

I've done absolutely no modifications to my car. I'm a Newbie at car tuning. I'm here, excited to learn as much I can about my car and hoping to make some new friends who can show me around. I'm a freelance photographer, so I'm also hoping to share some stunning photographs of the Tibby.

It's good to meet you all and I hope to learn from you!

Toronto yay! That's gonna be my new permanent home in a few (hopefully short) months. If you need local help with fixing or tuning the car, let me know. My husband tunes Ponys and Stellars, and knows my tib very well. And I know where all the good junkyards are if you ever need parts.

Also, you do photography, eh? I'm thinking of having some professional shots done of my car after I have it painted.

Sweet! My first new friend on this site! I'd love to do some shots of your car. When do you plan to paint your car? Yeah, I do photography, but shamefully I haven't taken any photographs of my car. That will change this year. What was the first modification you did with your tibby?

Sweet. I'm probably gonna paint it over the summer, so maybe in August sometime we could set something up. I'll have to see. Yeah definitely get some pics of you car!

First modification, hmm.....would probably have been an APC windshield banner or some sort of other ricey POS thing, way back in 2002 when I first got the car and was clueless as to what mods were tasteful and what was tacky. This is going back to when The Fast & Furious had just come out and everyone was rocking those LED washer nozzles and metal bleacher style spoilers. But luckily those fads faded, and I lost all that crap soon after, lol.

Well anyway there's quite a few of us in the GTA. Not only Tiburons but other Hyundais as well.
