Hello, my name is Brian. I bought my first Tiburon last month, I have a 2000. I really enjoy driving it. I live in Minnesota, there are not that many Tiburon's on the road here. Its fun to stand out. It does have a problem. When I turn my running lights / head lights on, my brake lights also turn on. When I do not have my running lights / head lights on, my brake lights work normally. I am hoping that someone here might have some idea why that is, and what the fix is. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

Try this, go outside at night and have someone turn on your headlights and stand behind the car while it is running. Now have them press the brake on and off, you should see a very noticable diffrence in the brightness of your brake lights. If you do then everythings fine its how they are made.

If you turn on your lights and hitting the brakes have no effect on the brightness of your brake lights then you have a problem.

welcome to the site! we have 1 other member from Minnesota, normally a night owl.
