Hi, my name is Evan. (Libby is my cars name...)

I'm from Bozeman, Montana

I drive a 2001 Tib, 64 Corvair.

I found these forums through a link on [another less active tiburon] forum.

I've done the following mods to my tibby.

No mods yet.... only repairs, and dreams.
I've had to replace front wheel bearings, front rotors, rear calipers so far.
I'll need to replace the RR e-brake cable, and have the windsheild reglued.

offtopic.gif I had an exciting trip one day, when my windsheild tried to pull up while on the interstate!

I've got some other stuff planned, but am unsure about when they'll be completed:
some performance mods, some cosmetic, and hopefully a stereo...
I suppose I'll wait to post on those until they're a bit more certain.

HOLY CRAP! I thought you were my wife! She's the only one I've ever heard call their Tiburon "Libby the Tibby" hahaha! Very funny, I was gonna call her right now to ask, but it looks like you're not her huh? Funny stuff. Anyway, welcome to the site!

PICTURES!!!! i'd love to see a car named Libby. a different name compared to Bertha, Roseann, you know, old-school names lol. my car's name is Shorty, or Baby. i named her Shorty because a)she's the smallest/shortest car i've ever owned, b)a girlfriend of mine name is Shorty, she's actually a small person, but not one of those "little people" and she's wholesomely obsessed with the color green, like me. lol.gif

btw, i like your avatar haha

I guess that I needed some good 'before' pictures, so I went out today and got a few shots of Libby. I shrank the best one down to an allowed size, and posted it in the garage.

Foxxy, she still looks all stock right now, so the pics won't be too exciting. I like 'shorty,' it does seem appropriate. I don't think that I could drive a car named Bertha... sounds better for an old ranch truck or something.

DTN, thought you might like the pictures too... Got some real mountains in the background!
