Hello, my name is Bryan Newlin. I live in Des Moines, IA. I drive a 2001 tiburon 5 speed, i found these forums from searching for info about tiburons through google.
I have done the following mods for my car:
aem cai
4-2-1 header
2.5" catback exhaust
8.5mm msd plug wires w/ iridium plugs
obx underdrive pulley
obx overdrive pulleys
fidanza cam gear
7.5 lb fidanza flywheel
clutchmaster stage 2 clutch
venom 400 performance chip
bought the car with altezzas on it
reverse glow gauges from importshark.com
and hope in the future to get a short shifter and phenolic spacers for now

would love to turbo my car but cant afford it just yet.
cant wait to meet some fellow tib enthusiasts who will actually be some help instead of dissing my car

Welcome to the site!

Be careful of the performance chip. To my knowledge there are none available for the Tiburon and it may be one of those resistors you see sold on Ebay. If that's the case you would be better off removing it as it will do more harm than good.

i'm happy with the chip for 300 dollars i think i got my moneys worth. it only takes like 10 minutes to install and has a led light you can put in the interior of the car thatll light up when the chip is active. ive had it on since last february and havnt had any problems with it. has an on/off switch on the box as well so you could see the difference if you put it on a dyno
