Hi all, newby here wants to know if i drop my Tib down say 30 mm would i have to shorten the struts or is there a tolarence which will let me do this without shortening them, also i think i have an idea on how to remove the springs but not exactly sure so hoping that some one could give me some advice on how to do it, i know i could take it to a garage for this but i'm not made of money, this is my first project so please take it easy with me and try not to be to technical otherwise my head will explode.

i've seen that some of you have looked already at my first cry for help, i thought i'd try again, please who will be my saviour.

shouldnt need to shorten the struts i dont think. theres people on here running stock struts with the eibachs and even intrax springs i believe. as for difficulty, its not to bad. ive done springs on a 4 year old car and a 15 year old car. the 15 year old car was tough just because we had to replace the boot and a few other miscellaneous pieces. get a friend to help and you should be fine with the right tools.

And for future refferences put topics in the right forums. there is a suspension forum and the answers could have even been found by searching.
