Hey guys,

I thought I'd introduce myself with my first post. I found out about this forum from the shitfight on HP. I'm from Sydney, Australia and I own a 1996 X3 excel (accent) which I'm in the process of getting ready to turbocharge. Once done I hope to be able to share my knowledge with you guys about the conversion. Pretty soon i'll start my own thread about it here, but for now heres a link to my thread about it on another forum.

Nice progress on that thing. Shame about the accident. My mom used to have a purple one just like that. That turbo will set it free.

The accident damage is all fixed except its wearing a satin black bumper and bonnet now. I managed to fix a lot of damage from a previous accident as well that the last smash repairer had just covered up.

Ah cool. So will you be painting the bumper and the hood some time soon?

Not for a while... the turbo is more important to me at the moment so not until I've saved up again after that. The turbo manifold is in progress at the moment and I'm waiting on my megaquirt and wideband O2 sensor from kfx performance to install.

Yeah good idea. Car will get less attention the way it sits now as well.
