Hi all.
I own a 2001 Silver Tib, 5sp.
What I would like to do with the car performace wise for now since budget is super tight. Is to go with a AEM intake, and a new catback exhuast that gives alittle more in the HP range and is QUIET, no fartpipe noise.
It is a 4cyl. engine. Still under warrenty with 31900 miles. Would doing anything like this void it?
Also getting new black/gunmetal rims, and same color body kit. The car is silver so I think it would look pretty good. And would that void any warrenty work aswell.
I would like this car to be a sleeper with some style wink1.gif
Thats about it.

intake and exhaust will only void warranty if they are the cause of the problem....IE) you engine hydrolocks cuz you decided to drive thrui a river with your cold air intake, in that case you'd be screwed cuz the intake is the reason your engine hydrolocked. BUT if say you get you cold-air and your transmission blows up, well that would be covered cuz it has nothing to do with your intake.

but just to make sure see where your dealer stands on modifications, some are a$$holes and wont honor your warranty, but most will adhere to the guidelines i noted about.

anD as for the bodykit, you wont have a FACTORY warranty on peeling paint or anything to do with the body, but who the hells cares get it painted when you get it put on, and youll be set with the warrenty from the autobody shop.

oh yea and welcome...lol

Watertown is where I picked up the Tib at Fucciello Imports. Considering I barely drive stick, the
drive home was a learning experiance. Took me about 2 days to not stall out.
