<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (funkypc @ Sep 25 2006, 02:09 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Welcome to RDT!
Post some pics up of your rides. What sort of things have you done to your 97?</div>

So far the '97 has a 4-2-1 header, full Catback exhaust, Optima red top, tinted windows (back and rear sides), full side graphics, painted interior pieces (yellow), CD stereo......that's all I can think of for now. Pictures coming soon of both cars. My 16 year old daughter drives the '97 to school and back every day, so I'll have to wait for her to get home.

Just finished painting the calipers on the '01, yellow, looks ok.....I guess.

The Tiburon's, of course I like the '01 the best and my daughter "loves" the '97.

I do all of the work on the '97, I have been working on cars since the mid '70's, mostly muscle cars. I will not do any of the work on the '01, I am going to keep it as stock as it is now. The hub caps on the '97 are just for the winter, I plan on going with 17" next spring.

Yellow and green = ouch.

Trust me, I've got a 97 too that someone thought green and yellow would work.

Ugh.

Your interior looks alright though.

Yellow and Green.....I like it, I want the colors to contrast, and I think I accomplished that. I realize that people have opinions and I respect that. I did want to remove all the yellow from the car but my daughter likes it and she does drive it most of the time, so, I'll keep it that way (yellow and green) for now.

Yeah, I like the '01 better than the '97, but the '97 is a lot quicker and is more fun to drive. the '01 willremainstock, I think that the '01 is perfect the way that it is. Plus the '97, I can experiment with and find out what I really like. Neither car is my daily driver, I keep the '01 in the garage most of the time. Also, the '01 has a Viper 160XV, remote start, remote door locks/unlock.

Anyways, thanks for welcoming me to the site, I like it here, I look forward to learning more about the Tiburon.

Is the RD1 a manual?

I'm not really a fan of painting the hubcaps, looks pretty cheap IMO. Why did you paint only your door panel? If the dash isn't done, it doesn't really flow that well does it?...looks kinda ugly and mis-matched.

I like the interior of the RD2, clean..
