hey, whats up? i'm new here in the family but i've been reading some really interesting posts on tibs and i would like to join the family. i currentlly have a 2000 "jazz orange" tib, with 17" konig troubles wrapped on kumho ecsta tires, and performance wize i just have a custome magnaflow catback exhaust (srry for the spellin' ><;, and an injen rd cold air intake. i just bought the car like 3 months ago so i just started throwing stuff on the car and i still plan on doing some more work on it. I work full time and i'm a full time student also, but dont have a lot of money cause i take care of my mom and sis, i use the left over money that i have after paying the bills, food and all that stuff so it's going a lil slow.

i just introduced my car and not me, lol, well my name is Ruben.

how do u know that its WAI and not a CAI, i mean, is there a way to recognize them? i read in the FAQ what a WAI is but this intake also sits in the back of the front bumper were the fog lights go on the 01 model. And is their a dif. between a CAI and a WAI in performance like wize? cause the injen intake supposably gives 15 hp and 12 lb torque (how ever u spell it...)

You forgot to tell us how you found our site.

As for NOPI, it's on the weekend, and a bunch of us will be there.

WAI is a WARM AIR INTAKE. It sucks air from inside the engine bay. The Injen puts the filter below the battery tray, sucking warm air.

The AEM sucks air from outside of the engine bay, therefore it's a CAI.

A CAI will always give better performance, denser colder air = more power.
