ok im not gonna lie guys - i dont have much money and im not going to race my car, im a poser i just want my car to look and sound f***ing sweet. is that so wrong. am i all alone on this one? it seems like everyone here wants to race and shit.

by this i mean i dont want to turbo my car or anything i just want it to sound awesome tongue.gif lol

 

Nothing is wrong with that, just remember that there is plenty of room to make your car LOOK good, and make it RUN good. You can get some kickass rims, that are nice and light, and you'll get the respect from both parties.

 

Get an AEM intake system, you'll love the sound. and if you want loud exhaust get an OBX header and take off your cats or switch to high flow. fing02.gif

 

I am a recently new owner of the AEM CAI myself and I can say you will love the sound. The only problem is the sound mainly only comes out when the pedal is relatively close to 100%. The Novelty of the sound will make you want to make it everytime you go from a stopped position. This in turn will rev the hell out of your engine which isnt normally too bad. Could just be me though, I love the way it sounds as it shifts from 1st to 2nd on my auto tranny! Sounds the same for 2-3 gear shift but you are at about 65 for that shift and can only really do that when entering a highway.

only thing im going to say is see if you can get the tuscani stuff to say tiburon. our cars arent tuscanis, thats the newer tiburons. i would email the sellers and have them put tiburon on it instead. even see if you can get the dragonfly font. if you like the tuscani stuff then go for it i guess but noone on here will like it.

 

nothing said tiburon anywhere on my car, and i wanted to rebadge my car as a tuscani since, that is what i would have bought if they had that car in the states. I wanted my car to be a bit different, and i thought doing that would do just that smile.gif

i figured hardcore enthusiasts wouldn't care for it, but its my car, and tuscani is way cooler lol

i'm gonna have to say that pretty much all the stuff you just bought...was a rip off.

wing / tail lights..
the wing and tail lights look realllly ricey / ugly in my opinion..

o2 sensor..
chances are you didn't need an o2 sensor. why did you buy a new one? if the guy installed headers, you have a CEL because he didn't hook up the second one. it's just dangling somewhere. you need to extend the wires on it to put it AFTER the cat.

intake..
the intake you bought is NOT a cold air intake. yes, you read right. what you bought is called a WAI (warm air intake). you will probably not even feel any hp gains (or sound, because more hp = more sound generally) from installing that. plus, if that is the actual picture, there is no hole for the IAT sensor, so your engine is going to run like ass. or, you'll have to drill a hole and buy + insert a rubber grommet in there for the sensor....but why do that when you can buy an AEM cold air intake and have that AWESOME growl sound, plus horsepower. (dynoed 13 hp at the WHEELS)

tuscani door sills / license plate..
well, first of all, we don't drive tuscanis. we drive TIBURONS. a TUSCANI is the 03+ tibs. that means, you will just look stupid driving around with the license plate cover, and the door sills will (most likely) not even fit.

speakers..
they are nice speakers, but for the money, the alpine type s are alpine's bottom-of-the-barrel. it's an OK sound quality with a high price tag. still will sound much nicer than stock 6x9s though.


after time, you will learn to make a post on here BEFORE you buy stuff and waste your money. god knows how much money i've saved because of buying stuff on ebay that won't fit, trying to replace parts that someone told me were broke that actually could just be fixed, etc..

side note: before i joined these forums about 3.5 years ago, i did not even know how to use a ratchet. now, i've installed EVERYTHING on my car myself. from engine work like headers, exhaust, intake manifold, to electrical stuff like haloz and angel eyes, and even body stuff like my spoiler.

you will learn A LOT from hanging out around here. but, be prepared to take a criticism when you do something stupid. mistakes help you learn.
