Welcome to the forum! There are plenty of accent owners here who have their accent modded. Look around and dont be afraid to ask questions if you cant find your answer. smile.gif Thanks for the compliment!

I am not sure how much you will be able to get out of that 1.3, but the best bang for the buck with that year accent would be Nitrous or swap a Beta motor from the elantra/tiburon into it. banana.gif

welcome.gif to the site! TONS of Accent owners here, so you'll find lots of info here.

How easily are you able to find a spare tiburon or elantra engine, transmission, and ECU there in Africa? If you can find them easily from a junk yard, drop one in your car and you'll be pretty pleased with the results.

Very few Accent owners here have the 1.3l, and I don't know of anyone with a 1.3l carb version.

It is possible to get some head work done but I doubt that it would be cost effective no matter how you look at it.

I'm with everyone else, nitrous or 2.0l swap.
