Well I have a few pictures I finally loaded onto my computer. Most of them are what I have fixed/needs to be fixed.
Just before taking over ownership:

Rust I will be fixing next summer while it is parked:

First project completed; Corroded headlights:

Comparison: Passengers side finished:

After 1000grit wet-sanding:

After 2000grit wet-sanding:

Finished product:

My old Accord (mods visible in pics are Magnaflow cat-back, 1.5 Eibach lowering springs, and DIY blackhoused headlights), and my current Matrix (mods visible in pics are de-badged hatch, rear limo tint and 15% front, and pending mod: Tein lowering springs)

I will have more pictures of the Elantra soon and maybe some videos! Thanks guys!

Just a little update. I just installed LED's in the gague cluster. Not too bad for $10 shipped. Sorry about the poor quality pictures, my camera phone sucks, especally at night.

Gauges look nice.

That's some ugly rust. Very unfortunate. Did you have the same anti-perforation warranty as the US?

Thanks! unfortunately there are a lot of hot spots BangHead.gif to be expected with LED's I guess. And yea the rust is pritty nasty. My girlfriend bought the car used over 2 years ago, so I dont think there is any warranty on the rust.

Yeah Hyundai Canada doesnt seem to be so great. They are making some decent cars, but everytime I go into the dealership the service department is terrible. And from the work I have got done so far, the mechanics dont seem all that great either.
