LOL, be prepared to sell your kidney and ho out your wife/mom for enough money to try to attempt getting any where close to 200whp n/a without nitrous on a tib.

if you're new to mods, you might not want to boost. you need to be pretty serious and handy when it comes to caring for those things...
aftermarket exhaust is in the group buys forum from yamaneko's group buy. Apex'i N1 exhaust. be prepared to extend O2 sensors and add catalytic convertor. goes well with headers.
other than that, if you're not wanting to boost, then cold air intake from ebay from user swervemotorsports. problem is you might have an evaporation cannister in your fender. DO NOT touch that if you do have one. we have learned that removing it lead to problems with fuel pressure as it is something to lower emissions. extending the evap cannster isn't the best idea in the world.
other than that, i just wanted to point out a few of these things you should look into before modding your tiburon. tiburons are one of those cars if done right, can look sexy as hell. RX7's, supras too. they can also be done dumb. do a lot of research before you mod, and please if you get the chance make it look exotic!

HKC, the only one to get problems from removing the evap can was you......
i did it successfully with no issues.
so did redzman.
and everyone on HP.com...
i would say if you want power you need to do a compression test, see if your motor is in good condition at 100k (never know how past owners treated the car). if you determine the motor sucks, then replace the motor and tranny (can be had on ebay or on here for VERY cheap, i think a motor with 25k just went for like $250 SHIPPED from greatblackshark right?)
first step is to get rid of that automatic tranny..

Has anyone outside of Korean Drag Tibs done more than 200 whp from a Naturally Aspirated setup?
I know that APE (www.apepower.com - sponsored by Flyryde) was doing 175 whp with his Beta II Motor N/A... but Random was having trouble pushing 200+ whp with an Alpine Turbo kit.
If you want 200+ whp, I think your best best is going to be Turbo buddy. Probably even cheaper to do a Turbo setup running 230+ whp than trying to get your motor to run 200+ N/A. Unless you use the Nitrous alot. (*cough* Jaws021 *cough*)

welcome.. heres your best bet.. and easiest, if you ONLY want 200whp.. if you want more, things will have to be different.
first, you wont wanna swap the 2.7 in, waste of $$$, time, etc.
you'll want to swap a low mileage beta II in there with a manual trransmission.. whole swap can probably be done for less than 1k including parts if you do it yourself..
you dont wanna go N/A, if your looking for ~200whp.. itll cost you ALOT of money if you dont use nitrous.
get the intercooled alpine kit, for its ease of installation, and dont bother using the decomp. plate. our cars can handle 10psi on stock internals, just make sure its tuned for a good Air fuel mixture, and enough timing taken out. then you will have over 200whp, and semi straight forward, bolt on installation.
