Hello everyone! I'm Alex. I am new to the Forums and to Hyundai and Tiburons.

Spent 2 years driving a piece of crap Tercel and finally decided it was time to move up in the world. Spent a few weeks looking at different cars and 2 days ago Wednesday I picked up my Tiburon!

2001 Black Tiburon with 33,000 miles. I've only had it 3 days and I've almost put 300 miles on it already, and I'm in love with it.

Just like I've seen in alot of other posts I've checked out I have qusetions about Turbos and Kits and etc... which I'm sure I'll ask about later on down the road.

Just thought I'd say hi and get to know everyone!

Welcome to the boards.......So you had a Tercel before eh.......Everytime I hear about a Tercel I think about that movie, 10 things I hate about you, where the nerdy guy is at a high school party and he's trying to impress a chick by saying " I'm thinking of leasing a Tercel", thinking that would impress her. lol :? laugh.gif
Good choice for picking a Tib. You'll get tons of good free advice hear. laugh.gif

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Yeah my friend Justin (01Tibby341) and I are doing up our cars together smile.gif

Just ordered intake a few days ago and ordered green angel eyes, vent haloz, and other green lighting accessories!

Really excited about it, planning on eventually getting the Veilside and custom painting it green.

Default Re: Turboed? how much milage?

man quit it with the show stuff and put some performance on it. your car has alot of potential and the only way to get respect is to put down some numbers. Go with a turbo kit before the body kit. All I can say is putting a bodykit on your car will do is make it a target for cops, and thieves. Learn from my lessons. Anyways saw your post about the turbo setup, just post your budget you have for this project and i'll lay out the plan for you smile.gif

btw thanks for introducing yourself in the newbie section, i think all new members should do this

Hey Dweet.

I posted in my post about the Turbo so you can lay it out for me. And thanks for the welcome. Yeah I'm new to RD Forums but not new to forums in general, so I try not to be a pain in the ass and post all over the place. lol.

Yeah Turbo is defintely going before kit. Kit is last anyway. Cuz I dont' want to touch the car at all once the kit is on because I'll be too afraid of scratching the body or the paint 02.gif
