hellooooo rdtiburon!
my name is andrew and i live in south florida. im the proud owner of a red 2001 (production date is actually august of 2000). my baby has a custom cai, 4-1 headers from sr, water and underdrive pulley (i have the power steering as well but it wont go on), 1.8l intake cam, high flow cat with 2.25" from the headers back, and sr's front and rear sway bars. i also have an ebay short shifter and "carbon fiber" tails. stock height and stock rims. ive only been on a drag strip once, when my car was stock, and i ran a 16.3 at just over 80mph. it was a long time ago so i dont know exactly how fast it was; around 83-84 i think. im not all that bright when it comes to automotively technical subjects so try not to be too hard on this moron. dont know much else to tell you about myself, any questions just ask. glad to be here!

Welcome on, not a bad intro
Dont worry about not being the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to cars, were here to help, just if you have a question search before posting. When your sure it hasnt been discussed before then ask ask away.
Again, welcome on.

Welcome, are you a member of one of the other Hyundai related sites or perhaps been "a long time reader first time poster"? I see that you listed a 1.8L cam as one of your mods and that just isn't a normal mod that someone with "limited" technical automotive knowledge would mod.

thank you for all the warm welcomes.
tiburonmoo: i had seen a few hyundai sites back in the day. but to answer your question; when i was getting my pulleys put on the mechanic told me i could take the cam out of an older tiburon and put it into mine. i had seen it on a few websites so i figured id try it out.
