yeah, i've been hanging out around here not registered for about a month now. after i got my 01 tib i needed to know how to do some stuff with it, so the DIY section has been my friend.

yeah, that's about it. i got the tib to pretty much piss my family off- a bunch of UAW workers, my dad is a chevy car salesman and they are all anti anything non-american (only cars though), but i realllyy dont like american cars, so he couldnt help me and im not going to spend my $8000 (after taxes and interest) on a car i dont like. the only problem i have with it is the 2nd and 3rd syncros are shot, but those are getting fixed soon. i'm still impressed with how quick it got up to 115mph, my sisters 02 monte carlo i couldnt get to 100 on the same strech of road. i also bought this car never driving a standard before, but i've only stalled it a few times so...

anyway, here's this so i can contribute to other parts of the forum, and im not going to post pics of my car, it's in the garage if your interested.

ok, just realized the garage isnt working right now, so here are some quick pics:

general exterior pic

euro lights

2x MTX Thunder 6000's powered by an MTX 4250d amp

i hate having visible wires, and since i dont smoke it was the perfect spot for the "remote control"

Center console, under the head unit in the empty space is a 3.5mm headphone jack solderd directly to the jvc mobo, it's set up to retract when im not using it.

and other then taking off the tiburon stickers, this is the only external thing ive done

no, it doesnt stay on there all the time.

that's it, the only thing i did to it is what's shown in the last 4 pics (the jvc headunit was already in there)

Welcome to the site.

Explain to the folks that supporting Korea is as good as supporting the US. Considering how tight we are.
