Hey.....my name is Colin. I'm 27 and drive an 2000 Elantra in Pennsylvania. I have been a member of hp.com for about 2-3 years.
Red talked me into comming on this site. I love it even though some people are closed minded and don't like to see an Elantra owner on here. My car is basically a 4 door Tiburon.
I am mainly into performance mods and am going to do a tranny swap within the next 6 months.
Thanks for having me. Glad to be here......lots of good performance info, not all the ricey rice stuff that HP.com has attracted.
thanks RedZ

Err... ahh why the hell not. My name is Michael, I'm 17, and I live in a small town in Virginia. I own three cars...
- 2001 Hyundai Tiburon (5-Speed Manual, Intake, Exhaust)
- 1982 Chevrolet Corvette (4-Speed Manual Stock 350, Side Exhaust)
- 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (5-Speed Manual, 16G turbo @ 23PSI)
I got into the import scene when I got my first car, the GSX. I bought my first car when I was 15 with the help of my parents (I paid half... smile.gif). I was modifying it before I could legally drive it, and gobbled all the information I could find. Currently running 23PSI on 110 octane race gas @ 12.0-12.3 quarter mile. I bought the Corvette afterward for cheap, fixed it, and now thats my weekend car. I drove by a dealership, saw the ass of the Tibby and I had to get some of it.smile.gif I bought the Tibby salvage titled for 6500 to have something that got better than 20 miles to the gallon to go to school, and I keep the GSX/Corvette for the weekends. If you got a car question, I generally have an answer to it.

Hi my name is Kevin Tang, i live in san francisco. Im 17th and been drivng my tibby since march of last year. I loved the tibby ever since the commercial came out back in 1997, i think. So im not the people that started after the F&F, i was always interested since i was "yay high". I remember when the tibby went underneth the fishing boat and came out the other side and the two fishermans were like W T F!.... One day i came across a fellow tibby page on cardomain and found this site. I was on this site checkin out the diy and other info and eventually i got my tib and here i am now.
eh guess ill throw something in here. Hello, My names Dave, its my middle name, BillyDee comes from William David. Anyhow im 18 yrs old, i got my 01 tib with 15k on it and now have almost 40k, i recently boosted it via speed factor along with a bunch of other mods and i love dragracing the tib and smoking the ricers in my town, at the local track of course. I go to school at the university of louisville in the speed school program for mechanical engineering. Havent been posting here that long as u can tell by my post count but i try. Everyone seems cool and helpful so thanks for the good site.

welll...... I guess it won't hurt much, my name is Dan White, I live north of Port Huron MI, but am in the military and currently stationed i Utah. i bouight the tib in august of 03 and was trying to build it while owning another vehicle. it hasnt worked out and i had to choose between my lifted jeep or my tib, well i can no longer go mudding or trailing but i am happier than ever with the tib and parts are being installed faster than before. i play hockey for my base team, and my job is an aircraft mechanic on the f-16. haven't posted many but thats cause i am kinda shy and my car is not up to par with many others cause of my budget. but when i can i do and have found that the people here are really cool and would love to have alll of you at a meet we are having in july at rockie mountain raceway.
sup fellas
