Hi There!
I'm the new owner of a 99 accent that i will swap with a beta 1 real soon and turbocharged a little later ( after the brake and suspension upgrades are done). My previous car was a 91 Mazda 626 GT running 14.6@97mph. I've been working as a mechanic at a Kia dealership for the past 1.5 year. I suscribed to this forum cause it seems to have the best info about the Beta 1 engine.

another really good site to check out is the hybrid section of the hyundaiperformance.com forum, if you haven't tried yet... ton's of great stuff
