Ok so in the 2000 RD what the hell is the little blank spot for, theres a cut out of a little ovalish type hole, its 6" below the switch for cruise control and to the right lower corner of the, ignition, wtf is it for, its just there, is there wiring behind it?

behind them are screws. you take said screws out to remove dash

you can use a tiny screwdriver to pop them out.

there is one behind the little cover you are talking about, two on the bottom of that panel(w/out covers) and one behind the dimmer switch.

 

there are 5 of 'em. 1 is behind the dimmer switch. 1 behind that little oval. 2 on the bottom, and one of 'em is hidden behind the stereo surround (if i'm not mistaken)
