It's Hammer Time!
..or not. I just didn't want another topic titled, "Hey All," or something else along those generic lines and "It's Neuro Time!" doesn't have the same ring. tongue.gif
So yeah, I've been lurking the forums since, gawd, ever and made a post now and then (apparently four, woo yeah!), but I think it's time that I starting participating more. Why the change?
Well, to be honest, I've wanted an RD Tib since a little after I starting thinking about what kind of car I wanted (I went though the Maxima phase first. Go figure.). However, because they're not that easy to find around here in good condition and to settle with the higher up's, I ended up with a 2001 Elantra. Now don't get me wrong, I love it by the simple principal that it is MY car but it's no Tib. (What made it really hurt was that I saw my prize Tib slip through my hands). Oh well.
But, poor Avea got into an accident recently. Now's my chance! tongue.gif
Yeah, I love the style of the RD1's over the RD2's. I'm even willing to wait longer and spend more to find one in a "wow, that's ridiculous!" condition. But those tend to be half way (or all the way) accross the country. Or more importantly, tend to sell before I can even call the seller. RD2's are a little more common so I think I've finally let myself go and settle for one. After all, I like the interior better tongue.gif
I got one I'm gonna take a look at, and hopefully buy, tomorrow (And it's only TWO hours away! [/sarcasm]) and do a little conversion work. The RD2 front looks cool and all, but it's no match for the RD1's. What can you say what your heart click with true beauty. I'll probily end up switching the back end later on, or at least an aftermarket bumper (cuz seriously, wtf is up with those "vents").
Checklist for the front conversion: Bumper Cover, Hood, Headlights, Corners, Radiator Support. Right?
Anyhoo. That's my introduction. Noone's probily gonna read the whole thing but, oh well. smile.gif

Since you are a pervert and prefer the non boob look of the RD1, please, buy OP's, he's been trying to sell it in the for sale section for quite some time.
Not THAT far from you either.
