Honestly - who doesn't know what the word "forum" means? That word is 1000 years old. Chances are, if they don't know what the word forum means, what's the chances they get online much, therefore - what's the chances they care?
Its a good idea - but be honest. RDTib is an online forum.

Ha, I just write on a piece of paper saying:
i like your car, i drive the same....some BS....., are you interested in modding your car, here's a site, here's my number, if you have any questions about your car or need help call me up..etc. Then I fold in and write nice car in sharpie on the outside, stick it under wiper.

What I mean is, it sounds like you are trying to get their money by way of offering them a product. Since you are not trying to get there money, and just want them to visit the site, its different, and you are *not* selling anything.

See, whenever you try to get someone to do or visit somewhere new, you are SELLING the idea to them. This was a fact in the Military when we'd have to SELL the idea of Artillery to the Armored idiots, or to the Infantry Idiots, or whomever, and it's the same here.

Unforutnately this is the REAL WORLD and folks relate to comments like that. Some people's only refrence to import racing or tuning is that horrible movie.
