no Way stay in New York its the best!

 

no way, its too expensive, theres too many mexicans, and its too lame. Ive seen pretty much every square inch of this island and done all the stupid sh!t. Plus I hate being disconnected from the rest of New England...trying to get off the island is always such a PITA and is discouraging for someone like me who loves traveling.

Anyway I could go on and on and on about why I hate it here. The only things I do like are the water, and the old houses, and the proximity to NYC. Thats about it. I could never afford a home and never raise a family here.

I need a new place and new people.

yeah. Its really getting out of hand. Im not being a racist either. They were talking about immigration problems on CNN and Long Island was brought up. So its not just me discriminating. If I drive 5 minutes to the east into patchogue I would be a minority in that town. Same goes with many many of the surrounding towns here. Im fortunate to live in a wealthy community with high taxes so they cant afford to live here. But in the other towns they pack 50 to a house. Im not kidding, Ive seen it first hand. I issue building permits and I constantly have mexicans and other south americans coming in with citations that theyd received for running illegal multi family houses.

Anyway, enough of that lol. I need a middle class place. Cause there is no middle class. Since I live in this town its full of rich snobby white people who have no consideration for anyone else but themselves. I could go to the middle of the island but thats where a lot of the white trash lives....no offense wattsup4800, I know you're from the middle of the island, lol. So I wouldnt wanna go there. I just want off this island.

I've got an extra room here in the condo, I'm living outside of DC now, in Virginia. Plenty of job oppurtunities here, lots of shopping without having to go to DC. Fairfax, Manasas, Arlington, Alexandria, all great areas. Oh yeah, and more importantly, I need someone to use my other snowboard this winter with me since I got a new one. Oh yeah, did I mention we'd only be two hours from the slopes? 45 mins from the Coast Line, 45 mins from Capitol Hill and stuff, two hours from VA Beach, and, did I mention snowy slopes?

Your kidding me, that place is still standing? I would've burned that house to the ground. Any rumors of it being haunted? If so, it deserves to remain standing, and I would like a ticket to go spend a night. I love getting the sh!t skerd outta my self.

yeah TC, take a trip down here one time. NW DC is absolutely awesome, and its quite easy to get away from all the craziness of the city and right into some great camping spots. i went white water rafting last year on the new river, it was a blast!

I've driven by there dozens of times. I just never thought of taking a picture while I was there. If you could work it out a day time and a night time picture would be great!
