i also want to ask:
how to change or make my age 18 so i can access 'members only' forum.
if its possible to change background and font default colors (or schemes) because white on black is too much contrast for theze eyez.

hmmmmm i see. so what does it take to be elite then? is it a certain # of posts or do i have to contribute a DIY or what? if i buy some batteries then i may be aboe to give a DIY on removing and reinstalling a full exhaust system which i am doing later tonight... bye bye to my beautiful exhaust 02.gif

The "Members Only" Area will only be made available to people who prove to us they are mature enough to be in there. It does not necessarily mean that you have to have a certain post count. Its more about the maturity that is shown through your posts.
As for the HP vs. RD thing....Most of us used to post over there at some point, some of the members here still do. But its just gotten a bit too immature and clutered in the HP forums for most of us. We don't have a store here, and that (HP vs. RD) whole thing has nothing to do w/ the HP store, its the forums.
