Default Hiya

Bought my first Hyundai today a coupe gen 3 on a 52 with the 2.0 motor. Looks nice outside in the snow and ice.

Drives like a new car but have a problem with the doors locking (have to be fast with the handle).

Anyway am going to have a look around the site for a solution.

welcome to HA! hmm, i've never heard of that problem. it's very strange, but i'm sure it's not a big issue. as long as it's not with the actual lock. if it has a warranty with it then definitely pay the dealership a visit.

Is it power locks or manual locks?

If they're power, does locking it from the passenger's side behave differently or the same?

welcome.gif to the site! You said it looks good sitting outside in the snow. Where are you located at? Also, I think you're the first person I've heard call it a Coupe Gen 3. What year is it exactly? Also, what plans do you have for it? smile.gif

It is most likely the lock accentuator. If it is still under warranty the dealership should replace it for you.
