I sort of forgot about car forums for a while since I was concentrating on finding a decent job but since that's not happening I found my way back to hp. To my dismay they seemed dead and I found a link here and apparently I registered in 2008 and forgot about it.
Well, I'm here now and I'm going to be buying a 2009 Elantra SE rather soon. Yay.

Well I've been in the new Elantra and to me it's rather comfortable, way more so than the 2001 Accent GL I'm driving now. Though I don't remember if it has an arm rest, I'll really miss that if it doesn't have one.

Welcome back!
I looked at the Elantra Touring. It was pretty slick. The 09 Elantra looks pretty good though with good backspacing on the wheels so they sit almost flush with the fenders.

Hey man, it was your post that linked me here!
I'm glad I saw your links because I was getting really sad that I couldn't find anybody on hp anymore. One of the reasons why I was sticking with Hyundai was that I knew a lot of the people from the community and people like you were always helpful to me. I remember feeling nervous posting my first question back in 2003 and worrying that I'd end up being flamed to hell, but I wasn't and I stuck around and learned a lot about cars. At least now seeing this forum thriving, I can get the Elantra and have another home to go to for me and my car.

Wow, I'm glad you saw my link and found your way over then. smile.gif
I think in general there is about the least amount of flaming for ignorance here that you'll ever find on a car forum. lol.
