A bunch of us are hoping to drive to the Hyundai plant in Alabama on our way to NOPI Nationals in September. Keep an eye on the forums and you can meet us there</div>

I just inherited the Tib by marrying her. Got married May 17th. She still loves the tib, but she's been eyeing an rx-8 for a while now.

Lol yeah I noticed the first date and finally remembered the URL of this place.
The tib's great, 55k and no problems. Recently replaced all the hoses, and am about to replace the air filter (contemplating a CAI or just a K+N)
Did a full tune-up as well about a year ago.

Yep, her rent's wouldn't allow it until she graduated college, which was cool with me, allowed me to restore my J30 and sell it to buy the stang... not having a car payment is great.

congrats on the marraige. fing02.gif

i would get a cheap 40$ CAI off ebay and put a K&N filter on it. or leave the decent filter that comes with them.. would be the best 60-75$ you can spend.

the CAIs off ebay will get that stock ugly airbox out of the car and really make the car perform and sound much better.

this is what you want CAI this one is like 60$ shipped

same one CAI2 but 46$ shipped, comes in chrome or black, but seller doesn't have as good feedback rating.

if you search tiburon in ebay motors, and look through the intakes, you will find a bunch of em around same price from different sellers. they have them in red, blue, black, chrome, and range from 45$ shipped to 65$ shipped.

Thanks for the links. I may just get the 45 one and put an K+N on it (though I would need to know the K+N part # for the conical filter since the stock k+n for the tib is rectangle)
Do you have a part number for the OEM filter? I can't find one here (besides the hyundai dealership)
