Hello all!
Hi there
I've recently bought a 2007 Accent sedan Automatic. It's a fantastic little car - more powerful than I had expected and the automatic transmission is awesome for my 45km drive to work in traffic every day! I'm in South Africa and the driving here is less than considerate!
I am really impressed with the engine and I think when the warranty expires a free-breathing intake kit and a good exhaust system will be a nice upgrade. I wouldn't want to go too far not knowing how well the auto box will handle the extra power.
I do think the suspension leaves something to be desired, and very soon I'll be replacing the springs with something more sporty. It really battles with the corners. Any help on this will be most welcome! I think anti-roll bars will be useful too - my knowledge on this is limited to what Forza 2 has taught me!
15inch alloys and 195 tyres are coming soon as well.
All in all a fantastic buy - I was considering a Honda Civic Sedan or a Ford Focus 2.0 auto - but this caught my eye and turned out to be as good and far cheaper!
See you all in the forums!

Putting a short ram in there should not touch your warranty (as Hyundai themselves offer one to be installed in newer model Accents.) Of course, if the dealer doesn't install it, I guess you're on your own. Welcome aboard though. Keep us posted on your progress!
