Do you know who this Tiburon belongs too? Is it you?
Yes, i do make hoods.
Can you send the production pics over to my email? I'd love to geta good look at the scoop. Me and red are working ona hood idea right now, just beginning stages, but we'll see. I promise nothing till we get into the details and I get a good idea of what I'm working with (thus all my questions

The deal is guys, he has talked to me about doing the Cadamuro Hood for us if I send him the scoop.
The quality sounds great, they come with a hood latch, and he definately stands by his products.
Bill, you want me to post the details here or are you putting up a thread?

Well let me get the details (waiting for your pics) and I can then make a judgement on how hard it will be to mold, etc. Then I can get a decent price estimate, and take pre-orders. We're looking at about 10 people that are in to do it. New hoods are always cost intensive at the beginning because of sculpting/bondo/molding costs. 10 people would mitigate those costs down to where it doesnt kill the overall price.
When I get the scoop I'll be able to tell better. I personally am looking for a replica of the maranello scoop for another project, but me and Red talked for a while and may try this cad hood too.
The only issue would be getting 10 SERIOUS buyers. Alot of people say they want something on the spur of the moment, but then can't follow through when they think about it. I've done special hoods like this, but the community has to really be into it.
I'm not too familiar with you guys yet, but I'm open for whatever, and if my other project turns out OK the cad hood wont be too far behind.
regards,
-Bill

I've met that guy. Met and hung out with him at NOPI last year. His name is Steve and he's a pretty cool guy. As Dweet said, he lives in PA and he will be at the Tibathon meet in Daytona Beach in July (see sig for link).
That hood is custom made, the factory hood modified. He molded the scoop in, didn't buy it that way. He doesn't post pics of his car often because he doesn't want people copying it, and I could understand why. I have several pics of his car from NOPI last year, but I won't be giving any out. wink1.gif He definitely has one of the nicest, and most rare looking tiburons in the US. I don't think anyone else has that IMI body kit anymore. He also has an Alpine turbo on that Tib.
