Default Damn!

The dealership sold the '98 RD1 FX that I was gonna get. I am beyond pissed. The m-f'ers said they would hold it for me and I had first dibbs. They said this chick had $300 more as a down payment than what I had.

It turns ouyt that they have a 2K1 XD GLS there too. I'm thinking of shootin' for that.

RD1's are too hard to find in good shape.

That sucks man, took me 3 months of mild searching and another 3 months are hard searching to find the one I have, and it still didn't have the sunroof I wanted. The thing that really pissed me off, was I saw one online at a dealership 45 mins away, it was a red '97 for 7 grand, I called them and asked if they still had it, they said yes, I said I would be there in an hour to look at it and most likely buy it. Well, by the time I got there they had already sold it, what a kick in the ballz. I almost bought the 2nd gen, blue, sunroof, leather, everything, that they had there too, but it was an autotragik, and I couldn't live with that. So I waited another month and a half and finally found one 2 hours away in Maine.

if you have your heart set on a tib.. do not settle for the Elantra... you will NEVER like it because it was not what you wanted.

Keep looking and good luck! Check eBay and the local papers..

yeah I wnet to a few dealerships before I found my black tib. But then I saw the price and almost walked away. Luckily my mother said she would co-sign on the loan.

My current tib I found on ebay. I'd check on there, see if you can find something local.

Why would you give them money AFTER they screwed you, and went behind your back and sold it?

Reminds me of the Senfield episode where Jerry was at a rental car agency, and had reserved a car for him, only when he got there did they rent out that car after he made the reservation, LOL

I would'nt give bussiness to anyone who can't keep their word!

Good luck in your searching.

Alright everyone, Ya'll have a good point. I went here because my mother is a customer there and I got approved without a co-signer (I haven't any established credit whatsoever). My own bank won't finance me. Anyway, I'll see what I can find.

Yeah, I have Autotrader.com and Collectorcartraderonline.com bookmarked already. I buy the magazines every week.
