Ok, here I am, asking questions already, and won't actually have the car for another week. God, the wait is killing me. Now driving a 91 excel while I wait for my tib to be ready. Anyway, here's the question. I hear a lot about clutches going. 99 tib I'm getting is i4 2.0ltr, and I'm wondering about an average cost of replacement for the clutch. In ontario, canada if anyone knows.... Thanks...

Where do everyone hear these "issues" at? I've never heard of any of these that have been brought up by new owners across the boards the last few months.

Average cost of replacement is prolly 500 US, installed or so.

its the ricers, they are spreading rumors, so that stickers will be more favored than actual performance parts.

check out his link for info on a good performance clutch

well depending on if / how it was abused before you.
But in general, no, no issues.

If the car wasn't driven to hard, and the owner didn't kill the clutch i.e riddin the clutch, hard launches, drivin like my mom, you SHOULD be perfectly fine
