Hello,

I'm Alvin Methorst (Chipmunk) and from the Netherlands.

I've a Coupe 1 1998, and want to tune my car. I allready bought a GT28RS.
But nobody in the Netherlands can awnser my questions about turbocharging my Hyundai.

So thats why i've joined this forum. I hope you can help me.
And it also will improve my English wink1.gif cause that's not my best language wink1.gif

regards Alvin

welcome man glad to have you around. i know that for a set up that big your gonna need some hyundai 1.8l pistons/rods so you can seriously drop compression. and you will need probably a full standalone cpu, i would look into the MegaSquirt system, there are a few members on here who are in the process of getting theirs up and working properly.

welcome..

optimo.... 'a setup that big' ... its a GT28R.. its not that big of a turbo..

the 1.8L piston/rod setup isnt a really great idea.. drops compression too much, makes turbo work more, meaning it fails quicker..

there would be no need for standalone either.
