Ok, so here we are. Odds are very good that in the next few days I will be the new owner of an 01 tib.
The name is Bryan, friends call me BarCode, and forums goers call me Code or codenomics.
I am an avid ElantraXD.com user and own an 04XD2 as of today. um, Right now I am looking into educating the hell out of myself about the RD2 tib and all the fun things that I am going to do to it.
I am a ghetto modder, too dern poor for all the nice mods as of now. The first mods I am going to end up doing are SRI, which will later be a CAI. And I will be fitting HIDs into my Tib. Ill be looking around, if yall have any advice or heads ups please holler at me.

What are you interested in knowing about our cars? They're fairly similar to the Elantra.
HIDs - yup, we got those.
Cheap DIY threads - yup, we got those.
How much are you paying for this 01 tib and what are the specifics (auto/manual, mileage, mods, color, package - leather, sunroof, etc.).
I'm asking because we have quite a few already modified Tibs on the site for sale

welcome to the site and postpics.gif of your elantra and when you get it te tib. btw this is the best forum on the net for the info your looking for. just use the site search option before asking any questions that may have been asked before.

Ok specifics, umm. Black, 5 speed, cloth interior, sunroof. Not a GT other than that I know nothing about the packages.
I am taking over payments on it, about 5K left on the loan. I think it has close to 80k on the odometer. We have been looking for a car now that my wife is working but our credit sucks, and her co worker has it. Bought it for her kid and the kid refuses to drive it! The car has been taken care of very very well.
I drove it today and the clutch is perfect! Everything is smooth as can be. I actually loved it more than I thought I was going to. Good deal faster than I thought too.

I actually heard this site mentioned a few times on EXD, and I posted on NT and they told me to check yall out.
Im seeing alot of aftermarket support for the tibbys. Not used to that, most of the stuff that we do on our XDs is cut and grind and melt, shove it in the oven, custom! That is part of why I love my XD so much, there are no altezza lights!! lol
Oh, and pics of the Elantra? I got a few.
