I've been viewing this website for some weeks now and I am addicted... What a perfect place for us RD owners. I bought a 2001 tib from a buddy for 4500$. See, it didn't have a motor, a back windshield and the sunroof broke (flew off on me on the highway 02.gif ) Anyway, I put a new motor in myself, installed a new sunroof and had the windshield replaced so now I've got a tib in great shape with low miles!!! Now I'm in the market for a good turbo kit. I would like to be at about 220-230whp but still need a reliable car. That's me. This place rocks. I've learned alot.

Welcome!

Good to hear you revived a tib, but without a motor id hope you could get it cheaper than 4500 lol

And if you put the engine in it yourself im sure you could figure out a turbo, and we're here for what you cant figure out

pics 2!

I actually didn't pay for the car until we had the motor in I feel it was a good deal because everything is in awesome shape. Plus, he threw in the wheels, CAI and exhaust... I'm Happy. Pics soon.

I very much enjoy playing mechanic LOL, but yeah, I had many short term problems getting everything put together. Flywheel was a big one. Bolt pattern didn't match a flange or some s**t and that really sucked. Everything turned out perfect though!
