Thats with an Alpha too. Just imagine the power if it was Beta swapped with the same components. blink.gif

How about NOT... I love that its the Alpha...too many people keep saying "Beta swap for real power". THIS IS PROOF!!! The ALPHA CAN MAKE POWER! Why swap it? Besides its a 2000 lb car for god sakes! 250 whp is enough to take on most street cars...300 is OVER KILL...not that its bad but damn...theres really no need for more unless your drag racing in Pro ciucuts.

There is no such thing as too much. That's why you a gas pedal and brake. the driver decides how much they want to use. tongue.gif

Ok ok...fine be that way. I'm only thinking LOGICALLY about it. I stand my ground about the Beta swap. Only reason I would be JEALOUS about it is if I couldnt make power with what I had. I rather save myself the headache and boost the Alpha. Besides we are still yet to see some reliable Beta turbo Accents that havnt had to go through huge amounts of customization just to get it to all fit. I'm not say it hasnt been done just not many of you who have Beta swapped have been successful at it. Trying to boost an Alpha is challenge enough for me thank you.

I say over kill to 300 whp because I got a buddy whos running an Evo VIII motor swaped Mirage 1.6 Turbo guy had to downgrade his car from 435 whp to 320 because he couldnt get traction from 1st till the top of 3rd! He did have TOO MUCH POWER. His car is also 300-500 lbs heavier than ours... about 2500-2700 lbs.some where in that ball park.

I'm just trying to be real about it is all. dry.gif

When im driving down the highway at 100kmh about 60mph i think, It smokes the tyres in 5th gear by just poping the clutch! hehe... smile.gif lol. I just need a better gearbox then i can boost even more power... thinking of upgrading NOS to 150HP....

Cheers Ryan

Good god...LOL...All I care about is that this little car can handle 200 whp with no prob. Good for you man keep it up. I look forward to seeing how far you take it. This is the same engine you first bought the car with right?
