Hey everybody,
My name is Adam and I live in Portland, OR and I have a 2000 Tiburon (for now, more later 02.gif )
My only real major mod on my car is a new exhaust system, from header to muffler.
Other than that I have only done minor mods, some LED lights, installed a keyless entry system, front and rear strut tower bars, and installed a trunk release solenoid.
Unfortunetly, today is a sad day, because my automatic transmission decided to stay stuck in first gear (and I get no reverse either). I really like my car, and I don't want it to die on me! crying.gif
Anyways, I found this site after joining newtiburon.com and finding out that they don't car about my "old" tiburon.
Greetings to all!

Welcome to the site!
Now sounds like a really good time to do that auto/manual swap. When things break, it's best to get it upgraded rather than just fixed.
Post some pics, I really want to see your LEDs!
Who was the manufacturer of your exhaust?
Again, welcome!

I still don't have a better digital camera other than my cell phone, so a pic of the LEDs might have to wait. Here is what I have for my exhaust.
OBX Type R 4-2-1 S.S. Headers (Not thrilled with them, but the wife won't let me break the bank for the good stuff)
2 1/4" Magnaflow Cat
2 1/4" Flowmaster Hushpower II Resonator (Probably a big waste of time and money, but I DID NOT want to sound like a Honda Civic)
2 1/4" Magnaflow Muffler
Aluminized Steel Piping (Didn't want to spluge on stainless either).
For the LEDs, I have two sets in each foot well, a neon light rope embedded into my lower center console, and a 24" light tube mounted in front of the rear seats (all blue). All of these are connected to a dancing lights type controller. With my indiglo gauges (also blue), the inside of my car is quite lit up at night.
I've also changed all the light bulbs I could in my car to LED, with a new turn signal relay.
So here is a question for you, why does the car monitor your turn signal lights and let you know when they are bad, but not your brake lights? Just always seemed odd to me. Especially since it is really hard to check your brake lights by yourself.
