Yet Another Led Question
im in the process of replacing my interior dash lights with blue leds. i was wondering about the switches with on/off lights (the lights that turn on/off when the switch is turned on/off like the a/c, fog, rear def.). so far i've just been removing the stock light, and running a led where i wanted it, and wire it to a different location. but those on/off lights, will i have to solder a led where the old light was? or is there a different wire running to those lights?
and if i have to solder it to the origonal location, will i need a resistor, and where would it go? any help would be great. thanks!

No resistor needed.
Do a search here or on the archives, I know I posted something up.

if you are replacing leds, then you dont need a resistor b/c there is already one in the circuit for the stock led. anytime you replace a bulb though, you will need a resistor. there are only two, sometimes 3 stock leds...the activation lights for the a/c and recirc switch.
