yeah, satellite=line of sight, believe it or not. I'm sure you've seen some Hondas and GMs with satellite radio, you can see the little unit on top of the car painted. It really isn't that noticeable, maybe you could paint the antenna.

thats a good idea, but i think ill just stay away from satellite for now, i hate antennas

I don't think that antenna looks that bad. It's not too big. How did you run that wire? I've been considering getting it but it would suck in bad weather. lol
