Which Would Hit Harder?
I currently have a 12'' memphis power reference with a 200 rms rating and a JL 500/1 amp. Would a Kicker Comp CVR with 400 rms hit harder than memphis power even though its rated at double the rms? As far as I can tell rms doesnt really mean a lot in terms of how hard a sub will hit.

Rms is what it runs normally so 400 is better than 200 the peaks may be diffrent. The thing is I you had a 200 rms amp they both would sound the same with the jl you have you can run 500 rms to 1 sub so the kicker would hit harder with your amp alot harder any other questions you can ask away
