Would an airbag break your arms or hands?

Would an airbag break your arms or hands?
Lets say you're about to get into a head on collision and you lay on your horn right before it happens. If your hand was on the horn and the airbags came out, would it break your hand or arms? Are they that powerful?

Knowing from experience yes it is possible. Them damn thing are f#%king dangerous. It slammed my arm into my driver side window and the glass broke. Both of my arms went nuuuummmm for 20 minutes and made my arms turn red and blue. Thank god it didnt hit my face. As I seen the air bag deploy I just had enough time to move my damn face out the way. Let me tell you if your able to see the accident coming to play and you cant avoid it. Time seems to slow down as if your looking at a picture book turning the pages. O but be prepare for all the white dust from the air bag to be blown in your face, mouth, eyes, noise and etc! Since I had this accident happen in my old 97 tib. Its so compacked I really didnt have no place to move. At least I was able to get out my car and beat the living sh*t out of the 18 yr. Old who was trying to leave the seen all f#%king drunk and high on weed!

my friends dad broke his left hand putting it through the glass and his right hand hitting my friends mom in the face, breaking her nose in a car wreck thanks to the 'bag

maybe sticking a small cushion on a non airbag wheel ain't so bad after all.
the roof pillar's on that genesis were hopelessly unable save you from breaking your head...could use a lesson from subaru to build super strong a-pillars like on their GD impreza.
