welp with no interior the ignition switch is easily accessible so im looking at other ways to protect the car from being stolen
firm believer that alarms do sh*t so im lookin at ways to disable it instead of just sounding loud
any tips?
was thinking of putting a starter button in but alas i have no idea how to wire said switch
maybe a fuel pump kill switch?
maybe put a push button on the clutch switch?
cant really do a battery kill cuz i rather not risk losing the tune if i let it sit
also looking at something that has be to be done every time the car is started, if i forget to flick off the toggle switch....

Pretty simple to just mount a hidden switch somewhere. Or us an OEM type switch.
Fuel pump power is probably the best but ECU power relay would kill everything.

cut the wire to the clutch pedal switch. add a few feet of wire on each side. Put a normally-open pushbutton anywhere you like, wired to those two wires. Push clutch and push button and turn key to start.
on the 12VDC to the Fuel Pump, cut power wire splice in a toggle switch.
Very simple, also you can do the same thing for the white wire on the ignition Tumbler which is the ignition power, That will eliminate spark.
If you do both your pretty damn safe either or there not getting far!
A very nifty spot to install your toggle switches is in the very back of the din under the stereo. Can see them and wont find them if your not looking really really hard!!!

lol no dash because racecar
was lookin more for something i HAVE to do each time i turn the car on, like a push button
and as much as i hate to say this.....stocker pretty much had the right idea, its what i figured i would do anyways just was looking for options
on my old monte carlo, the car HAD to be started in neutral(automatic trans), with the parking lights on, and you had to turn the column plastic in order to hit the magnetic switch we installed into it
wiring on that thing is MUCH easier to do
oh and stocker
