Default Wiring question

This has to do with amplifier to subwoofer/speaker outputs. Do all of the outputs on a multi-channel amp have to be at the same impedance? For example, if I have 2 channels on a 4 channel amp bridged to run a sub wired at 4ohms, do the other two channels have to be run at 4ohms or can I run them at 2 ohms? I'm planning on doing this to run my rear speakers and subwoofer off of the same amp, i'm just trying to get the wiring part outta the way in my mind to help with my shopping.

It depends. The manufacturer's literature is the place to find out on a model-by-model basis. As a general answer with such a nonspecific question, the only safe response is "yes make them all the same"
