to put their cars emblem (the model) on the passenger side crash pad? That has got to be one of the dumbest thing ever but I see alot of people doing it. I can just imagine someone getting into an accident, the passenger airbag coming out, and the emblem getting lodged inside the passengers chest or face.

 

Probably because many cars use to come that way. IIRC the older Z cars did as well.

 

well you want to be sure that the passenger knows what you're driving don't you? imagine if some hottie sitting next to you mistook your hyundai for a honda! you'd never get over that....well until she gets naked anyways.

 

Had a kid say the rental car was a "silver honda", turned out to be a silver elantra.

Balless little car, california spec de-tuned rental... Had a handle of spiced rum break in the trunk, air freshener!

 

Sadly, I have mates that do this. I... it is disgusting.



To be fair, I was going to put a 'sprint' badge on my radio blanking plate, but I couldn't be arsed. I figured it would be appropriate since the 'sprint' was the stripped out base model in australia.
