I've visited the local Home Depot, and have found no MDF for upcoming projects I'd like to try. Anyone have a lead on where you'd pick this stuff up?

 

my local Home Depot has MDF.. tell the bastards to order you some. I have noticed at the two local stores here that one carries things that the other doesnt... i.e one has fiberglass mat and cloth, and the other only carries cloth... go figure

 

what is mdf??

 

MDF: Medium Density Fiberboard.

Basically, the stuff sub boxes and such are made from.

 

Be sure to get 3/4 inch MDF if your building a box.

 

i buy mine from home depot. they have 1/8 1/2 3/4 1" pieces. all by 2x4 feet though.

lowes doesnt carry it. home depot is the only place in town i could find it.
