Can you be a bit more specific on what your looking for? Are you talking about from the battery to the cabin? How to run it from the front of the cabin to the amp in the trunk?

I read it but Im not too comfortable taking off my drivers finder to run the wire. I just want to run it through the firewall and not the door (like it is now) but Im not sure where a hole is. The hole by the fuse box shown in his diy is perfect but is there another way of getting to it?

thats the one you have to take your fender off for. its really not hard at all, and should go quickly.

if you look under the refernce section there are two posts about locations for firewall passageways though.

I did it without taking the fender off... I "jimmied" some thick solder I use for soldering copper pipe through the hole by the battery until I finally found the cabin hole with the solder. It took a buddy on the other side sticking his finger in there to feel for it but when we got it through we wrapped it around the power wire and pulled it back through. Took like a half hour. I realized, you can take a fender off in a half hour but it worked...

The method I used was to drill a hole right about where the floor meets the firewall on the passenger side. Just make sure you don't drill through anything in the engine bay... only go as far as you need. The firewall is double layered. You can drill a hole, put a grommet in there, then pass the wire through with a coat hanger in about 15 minutes.

Yah, I did the exact same thing, drilled a seperate hole for my power cable then ran it along the clips by the door with the factory wiring.

I'm not sure what the diy says but take off the plastic inner fender piece closest to the driver and you'll see what you need to do. I've run tons of wires through there. I'm pretty sure you could run a garden hose if you wanted too.
